DESCRIPTION:Colonel Walter Scales was the 455th Operation Group Commander a
 t Bagram Air Field\, Afghanistan in 2005-2006. As an A-10 pilot he flew 32
  combat missions during his tour\, led a 350 person group\, and was awarde
 d the Bronze Star and two Air Medals for his service while the group comma
 nder. His presentation will be on the capabilities of the A-10 and the tac
 tics used during his tour in Afghanistan.
