SUMMARY:Destination Aviation Summer Camp 4 (Ages 13-14)
DESCRIPTION:Destination Aviation Summer Camps offer the option for particip
 ants to be residential or day campers. Activities are located on the beaut
 iful SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus at the southwest corner of Lakeland Linder a
 irport (KLAL) in Lakeland\, Florida.\n\nDestination Aviation Camps offer a
  flight opportunity for all participants. Each camp offers a day or reside
 ntial option. Classroom group school instruction includes aircraft familia
 rization\, cockpit instruments\, aerodynamics\, and flight simulators. The
  flight opportunity will be in a Piper Cherokee with campers piloting a cr
 oss-country course over the east coast of Florida. Two to three campers fl
 y a ‘leg” of the course in ‘dual instruction’ from a certified Fli
 ght Safety International instructor. The campers loggable flight experienc
 e may include approximately 20 minutes of flight time and a takeoff and la
 nding. Camp concludes on Friday with camper presentations and an open hous
 e for families to tour the Aerospace Center for Excellence.
