The Oldest Aircraft in the Americas, Blériot XI , Soars Again at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

Blériot XI serial number 56, the oldest flying aircraft in the Americas, has returned to the skies at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome after more than two years of restoration. Built in 1909, the aircraft has a high percentage of original parts and remains a centerpiece of the museum’s historic aviation collection.
