AirCorps Aviation Acquires Pioneer Aero Services

The Art Technician will support the department’s mission of producing authentic aviation markings for aircraft owners while also creating inspired artwork for aviation enthusiasts. Working under the direction of the Art Manager, the technician will collaborate with AirCorps’ in-house graphic designer, fulfill art orders, and produce printed graphics using a variety of methods and mediums. The position also involves entry-level design work for in-house projects and providing excellent customer service to both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities for the role include producing printed artwork such as decals, stencils, paint masks, placards, posters, and apparel. The technician will operate digital printing and vinyl cutting machines, create standardized prepress files and proofs, manage order fulfillment including packing and shipping, and collaborate with supervisors and clients to develop proofing materials. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

AirCorps Aviation is seeking a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to multitask and work under pressure, a working knowledge of the Windows operating system, and a willingness to learn software such as SignLab, with training provided. A strong sense of responsibility, collaboration, and dependability are key attributes for the position, as is a high level of attention to detail. The role requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience with digital printing, vinyl cutting machines, and Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred but not required. Aviation industry experience is not mandatory, though a passion for aviation is highly valued. The position offers an hourly wage of $20 to $25, depending on experience, and is based at AirCorps Aviation’s facility in Bemidji, Minnesota. Remote work is not available. Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
