CAF Missouri Wing Announces Wings Over St. Louis Memorial Day Weekend

The Commemorative Air Force’s Missouri Wing in Portage Des Sioux, Missouri has announced that their North American B-25J Mitchell 44-31385, nicknamed Show-Me, will fly into Spirit of St. Louis Airport near Chesterfield, Missouri for a three-day barnstorming aviation event which begins Saturday, May 29 at 9:00 a.m. Several other historic aircraft based with both the Missouri Wing and the CAF Heart of America Wing will be on display and available for rides. These will include a B-25J Mitchell, TBM Avenger, Stearman biplane trainers, and various liaison types. This event will take place at the TAC Air ramp, 18260 Edison Ave., Chesterfield, Missouri 63005.

The event will be open to the public May 29th through May 31st, from 9am to 5pm each day. The requested donation for ramp access is $5 for adults and $2 for children age 11-17. Children age 10 and under are free. Airplanes will be on static display and available for rides, although advance ride reservations are encouraged. Aircraft ride prices range from $95 to $895. Ride reservations and additional information can be found online at www.cafmo.org.

He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
