PRESS RELEASE – B-29 Doc has added three air shows in Texas to its 2022 tour season schedule. Doc is among the list of performers for the Great Texas Air Show at JBSA-Randolph in April, along with the Rose City Airfest and Thunder Over Cedar Creek Air Show in Tyler, TX in July. This is the first of many announcements regarding the 2022 tour season for Doc, which will include stops in 13 states and more than 20 cities.
The Great Texas Air Show at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph (JBSA-Randolph) is a two-day event that will include B-29 Doc as a static display and air show demo performer April 23-24. Doc will arrive at JBSA-Randolph on Friday, April 22.
“B-29 Doc is honored to be among the list of performers and warbird static displays as the JBSA team hosts the Great Texas Airshow as part of the 75th-anniversary celebration of the United States Air Force,” said Josh Wells, B-29 Doc Executive Director, and General Manager. “We look forward to sharing the ramp with other historic warbirds, as well as current military aircraft, of which have all shared the joint mission of protecting freedom at home and abroad.”

“The mission of the Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation is inspiring and we are humbled to be a part of helping honor those men and women who have served our nation and who need the services that the Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation and its mission support,” Wells said. “We know this event will further promote the mission of the CCVF in the Northeast Texas region and we are proud to be a partner.”
