The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Oshkosh, WI, has opened applications for aviation writers interested in taking part in Author’s Corner during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026. The program will run throughout the July 20–26 fly-in at Wittman Regional Airport and offers authors a chance to meet readers and showcase their work during the weeklong event. Author’s Corner has long been part of the AirVenture experience, bringing together writers covering a wide range of aviation topics. Previous schedules have included both nonfiction and youth titles, along with appearances by well-known aviation personalities and historians. Writers who wish to be considered are asked to submit an online application to EAA’s Retail Operations team by March 10. A physical copy of the book must also arrive by March 16. Submissions received after those deadlines will not be reviewed. Several requirements apply to applicants. Authors must hold current EAA membership and be available to attend AirVenture for at least two days between July 20 and July 25. In addition, EAA must be able to purchase copies of selected books directly from the author or publisher in advance of the event. Books should be mailed to EAA Retail Operations, c/o Author’s Corner, 3130 Knapp Street Rd., Oshkosh, WI 54902.

Space in the Author’s Corner schedule is limited. Writers whose books are selected can expect confirmation from the retail team by April 1, along with further details about participation.
