As we noted last week, the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum is preparing for a late spring or early summer re-opening date. To facilitate this effort, the organization is launching a new volunteer program. The first call for volunteers opens on March 21st and ends on April 3rd, with a mandatory Orientation Day to occur on April 12th. Currently, the museum is only seeking docents, but it does intend to make additional volunteer roles available in the future.
Inquiries regarding the volunteer program are not accepted in-person at the museum at this time, but there is an online application process for current openings and information regarding future volunteer opportunities. These details are available at the museum website’s volunteer page HERE.
