Aviation Photography Workshop at Stallion 51

United Fuel Cells

Crazy horse at night-1

Have you ever walked the flight line at an air show and wondered what it would be like to photograph those beautiful warbirds without the crowds spoiling the view? Or have you asked yourself what would it take to plan a successful sunset photo-shoot with these amazing historic machines? If so, then you should take the opportunity to join with 3G Aviation Media at Kissimmee Municipal Airport this March. The well-regarded photography instructors at 3G Aviation have partnered with the legendary Mustang instructors at Stallion 51 to host a unique learning opportunity allowing you to expand your photographic knowledge and skills. Through a mixture of classroom presentation, hands-on instruction and group interaction, 3G Aviation strives to provide their attendees with a controlled environment where they can practice new techniques with subject aircraft most rarely have exclusive access to. Of great significance, 3G Aviation’s  low instructor-to-student ratio provides ample opportunity for one-on-one instruction throughout the workshop, if desired, not to mention spending time and making friends with like-minded enthusiasts.

The workshop will take place on March 5th, and students can expect to work with a pair of superbly restored P-51D Mustangs ‘Crazy Horse’ and ‘Crazy Horse II’ as well as an L-39 Albatross and T-6 Texan.

Workshop topics will include:

· Taking control with exposure
· Sunset photo shoot planning
· Static Photography gear bag / Flight Line Safety
· Aircraft Details – Shooting the “Small Stuff”
· Post processing and workflow techniques
· Light-painting, long exposure and sunset strobe use

Workshop Instructors:
· Tony Granata
