Fresh from the success of their popular aviation photography workshop in 2014, the talented staff from 3G Aviation Media return to the the air show circuit, kicking off the workshop season at the 2015 MCAS Beaufort Air Show. Join 3G Aviation Media for a unique aviation photography workshop that will allow photographers to view and shoot from a front-row chalet located near show center. From this vantage point you will have a great opportunity to hone your panning technique as the air show performers display their aircraft’s capabilities right in front of you! Along with the perfect location, food, refreshments, seating and tables will be available all day long under the tent for you to cool off and rest your feet from your photography work.

Once the air show ends, attendees will assemble at the chalet for an overview of the evening’s photographic events. Prior to the sunset photo session, instructor Doug Glover will kick off the classes with a quick overview of Flightline Safety, covering what you need to know to work safely on the MCAS Beaufort flightline during the evening’s private photoshoot. Tony Granata will then cover some photography basics to ensure that all workshop attendees are able to get the most out of their cameras and equipment during the evening’s activities. The last class of the afternoon will cover sunset photography tips and techniques along with planning fundamentals so that you can be successful during the evening’s photo shoot and on your own in the future.

If you don’t wish to attend the sunset photography workshop, but still want front-row air show access with all of the perks of a corporate chalet, then you can purchase tickets for admission to just the Photographer’s Chalet. You will still have free reign of the entire air show flightline, but now you have a place to come back to enjoy the shade and cool your heels while sipping a cold beverage and eating catered food.
