CAF Giftshop Partners with Pilot Mall

PRESS RELEASE – Warbird enthusiasts can now access an extensive new selection of high-quality, affordably priced, aviation merchandise. Recently, CAF GiftShop teamed up with aviation Internet retailer Pilot Mall to offer an enhanced collection of merchandise that celebrates its fleet of legendary aircraft and helps to support its flight operations.“We are honored to have been selected by the CAF Headquarters to oversee their online store,” said Neil Glazer, founder and president of Pilot Mall. “The CAF maintains a fleet of 164 authentic military airplanes which are flown across the country year-round to pay tribute to those who built, maintained and flew these aircraft to protect America’s freedoms. We are thrilled to be able to help support their cause and to introduce their efforts to new supporters both domestically and abroad.”

Prior to the partnership, the CAF maintained its own Giftshop and ecommerce website. With the recent move of the CAF Headquarters to Dallas, the organization has seen a tremendous growth in interest and merchandise sales. By partnering with Pilot Mall, an established large retailer to manage its sales operations, the CAF will now be able to expand its product line, improve its operational efficiency and attend more aviation events.Leah Block, Vice President of Marketing for the CAF said “ Working with Pilot Mall, will make it easier for our customers to shop online, speed up shipping and broaden our selection of merchandise.The updated Commemorative Air Force retail site can be found at www.cafgiftshop.org. Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
