During the weekend, visitors will have the rare opportunity to see B-29 DOC up close, explore its cockpit and interior during guided ground tours, and even experience a ride aboard the historic heavy bomber. “Honoring the legacy of the Greatest Generation and those who stepped up to defend freedom during World War II is at the heart of our mission,” said Sean Elliott, B-29 DOC Aircraft Commander. “Partnering with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum for this remarkable event allows us to share the incredible stories behind these warbirds and the people who built and flew them.”
