EAA WomenVenture 2026 to Celebrate Aviation Innovation at AirVenture Oshkosh

EAA WomenVenture 2026 will celebrate women shaping the future of aviation through aircraft design, construction, and testing. The July 22nd program at AirVenture Oshkosh includes keynote speaker Xyla Foxlin, panel discussions, and a week of exhibits, forums, and networking opportunities.

Women involved in aircraft design, construction, and flight testing will take center stage during EAA WomenVenture 2026 at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The 73rd edition of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual fly-in convention will take place July 20th–26th at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. “This year, we wanted to focus on the ‘Design, Build, Test’ theme, as these women are at the forefront of new developments in the ever-expanding aviation industry,” said Margaret Brill, vice president of the EAA Aviation Foundation and coordinator of WomenVenture programming.

The flagship WomenVenture events on Wednesday, July 22nd, will include: Annual EAA WomenVenture Group Photo — 11 a.m. at Boeing Plaza, Power Lunch — 11:30 a.m. at Theater in the Woods with Keynote speaker Xyla Foxlin, engineer, pilot, and YouTube content creator, Evening Program — 6:30 p.m. at Theater in the Woods with Panel discussion featuring accomplished women involved in aircraft design and development “Xyla Foxlin, along with our panel of female aviation innovators, has helped advance the industry while inspiring other women to pursue their aviation dreams,” Brill said. “Their discussion on the future of aviation and how the next generation can become involved will be both informative and inspiring.”

In addition to the July 22nd programming, the EAA WomenVenture Center will be open throughout AirVenture week. Located on Knapp Street between EAA Press Headquarters and the Forums and Workshops area, the center will feature exhibits from 12 aviation organizations, daily forums, and social gatherings on its covered patio. Other popular WomenVenture activities have already reached capacity, including the Ice Cream Social presented by Endeavor Air on Monday, July 20th, and Bingo, sponsored by CiES Incorporated, on Saturday, July 25th. Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
