Moose Peterson is fast becoming one of the most well known aviation photographers working today. Coming from a highly successful background in wildlife photography, Moose turned his lens towards the world of warbirds a few years ago, and his talent for evocative images has merged quickly into his latest genre. His own father flew in WWII, so he has a strong, visceral connection to the aeroplanes from that era, and the stories of the men and women who built, flew and maintained them. With that in mind, Peterson has felt compelled to document and help preserve the legacy of the greatest generation through his imagery. He has just teamed up with Texas Flying Legends Museum to create a marvelous documentary featuring their magnificent collection of aircraft, and the stories connected to them. As well as stunning aerial photography, there will be interviews with surviving wartime aircrew, and the people who currently fly and maintain these warbirds.
