B-29 Doc adds June 3-5 tour stop with CAF’s Heart of America Wing in Olathe, KS



B-29 Doc is partnering with the Heart of America Wing of the Commemorative Air Force for the B-29 Doc History Restored Tour in Olathe, KS. Doc will arrive at New Century Airport, Friday, June 3 and will be part of the Heart of America Wing Authors, Art, Appetizers. And a B-29! special event at 6 p.m. Tickets for the event to support the Heart of America Wing are on sale now and space will be limited. Click here to purchase your ticket.

Following the event through the weekend, B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides will be available Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5. The flight schedule for B-29 Doc rides at New Century Airport will be 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. both days (June 4 and 5).

Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
