EAA Warbirds OncontoThe air will be filled with excitement at the 5th Annual Oconto Fly-In hosted by Wisconsin’s EAA Warbirds Badger Squadron 6. The event will take place at the J. Douglas Bake Memorial Airport in Oconto, Wisconsin on Saturday September 14th 2013 with gates opening at 9am with festivities running throughout the day until 5pm.
Admission is $4 per person and children under 12 are FREE.

The day will be filled with many activities that will offer something for everyone. There will be a large display of aircraft including some vintage warbirds as well as a WWII reenactment camp. There will be a special area dedicated to the display and flying of radio controlled aircraft with a special RC air show at 2PM.

There will be helicopter and airplane rides on offer as well as a vintage and antique car show along with antique tractors and fire trucks. There will be an official opening ceremony at 11am with the Desert Storm color guard, salute to veterans and many area and state dignitaries.

Moreno-Aguiari

Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.

    • Dave sorry we missed you at the Oconto fly-in and car show this year and we would love to have both you and your friends car at the event. This year we had approx. 150 cars displayed and expect even more for next year (Sept. 13,2014) hope too see you there. Jim Valentine (920)246 5620
