“We are honored and proud to host this romantic and patriotic event,” said Jeff Clyman, AAM President.  “Couples who participate will have a chance to fly in AAM’s iconic World War II C-47 Skytrain Second Chance, the same type of troop transport that took part in the historic D-Day Invasion,” Clyman added.  Bring your cameras or smartphones, as there will be photo ops during and after each flight.  Dress in period attire and make the event all that more special!  Flights are weather permitting; the rain date is Sunday, February 16, 2025. After the Love birds touch down and taxi back to Hangar 3 after each flight, they will have a chance to spend the day enjoying AAMs iconic collection of World War II bombers and fighters, many of which are fully restored and fly in the Jones Beach Air Shows and other events throughout the Northeast.  AAM will also provide cake and coffee or tea for all the couples!
