2013 Wings Over Gaylord June 15th and 16th



857958_10151463676868290_2033621449_oThe 2013 Wings Over Gaylord Air Show will be held Father’s Day Weekend at the Gaylord Regional Airport in Gaylord, Michigan, June 15th and 16th. Festivities begin with a 40s-themed big band dance held on friday night the 14th, followed by a full air show program on Saturday and Sunday with aerial performances running from 1-4PM both days.

3696681296_629b5baa13Scheduled to appear will be the Canadian Forces Parachute Demonstration team, the SkyHawks, aerial performances by a North American F-86 Sabre, an Aero L-39 Albatros, a North American B-25 Mitchell, a North American P-51 Mustang and a Douglas C-47 Skytrain with more planes being added as the show dates approach. In addition there will be a number of warbirds on static display as well as some whimsical crowd-pleasers such as a jet-powered school bus and a jet-powered outhouse to keep the mood light.

There will be a Polynesian Luau and hangar dance held Saturday night. More information on this event is available at the Wings Over Gay Lord Website as well as on their Facebook page.
