The Bronco Demo Team is bringing their newly restored OV-10B Bronco to the UK for it’s first public showing on May 3rd, 2014. The aircraft will be on show for fans, friends and family during a free event at Cotswold Airport (the former RAF Kemble). The Bronco Demo Team is collaborating with the Bristol Britannia XM496 Preservation Society which is holding their Open Day showing off their magnificent aircraft on the same date. The Cotswold Airport management has kindly offered to organize their Spring Fly-in on the same day as well, so this should guarantee a larger audience for both events.

As most of our regular readers will know, The Bronco Demo Team’s latest OV-10B restoration received her finishing touches very recently, and it will be marvelous to see the former West German Luftwaffe target tug in the skies over England for the first time following her rebuild. The Bronco’s display pilot, Tony De Bruyn, is the driving force behind the project. Passionate about aviation since his early boyhood, Tony has been professionally involved in aviation since leaving school. A CPL(A) holder with over 4000 flying hours to his credit, he loves displaying the Bronco showing the airplane to it’s best advantage: a rugged STOL performer with awesome agility and also fully aerobatic. WarbirdsNews feels sure any aviation enthusiast attending the Cotswold Airport event will be impressed by the Bronco’s performance!
