The L-39 Skyfox builds on the legacy of one of the world’s most successful jet trainers, incorporating significant improvements in performance, avionics, safety, and operational capability. Originally developed as the L-39NG, the aircraft made its first flight in September 2015 before entering production as the Skyfox.

Powered by a Williams FJ44 turbofan engine, the aircraft features a modern glass cockpit equipped with military-grade digital avionics, including Head-Up Displays (HUDs) and Multi-Function Displays (MFDs). Additional enhancements include increased fuel capacity for a range exceeding 1,000 nautical miles, improved cockpit visibility, enhanced climb and cruise performance, and multiple underwing hardpoints capable of carrying a variety of mission payloads.
