WARBIRD RADIO – Tune in tonight as Matt Jolley interviews aviation author Gordon R. Page. His latest book Chasing Planes chronicles his adventures as a self described “airplane fanatic”. Gordon is no stranger to Warbird Radio LIVE, many of you know Gordon as the Director at the Spirit of Flight Center in Denver, Colorado. Gordon is also the author of Warbird Recovery – Saving Aviation History.

Richard Mallory Allnutt's aviation passion ignited at the 1974 Farnborough Airshow. Raised in 1970s Britain, he was immersed in WWII aviation lore. Moving to Washington DC, he frequented the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum, meeting aviation legends.

After grad school, Richard worked for Lockheed-Martin but stayed devoted to aviation, volunteering at museums and honing his photography skills. In 2013, he became the founding editor of Warbirds News, now Vintage Aviation News. With around 800 articles written, he focuses on supporting grassroots aviation groups.

Richard values the connections made in the aviation community and is proud to help grow Vintage Aviation News.

  1. I’m delighted to report that Gordon Page is being inducted into the Colorado Aviation Historical Society Hall of Fame on October 10, 2015 at LakewoodCountry Club. The festivities begin at 11:00 am with a Cash Bar, WWII song stylings by Wanda Juzefczyk. The Exhibits on CAHS Aviation Archeology, chaired by FAA Brian Richardson; and Avioics with Dr. Bart Whitehouse, Wings Over the Rockies; also an aviation themed Silent Auction; and “Celebrate Emily Howell Warner,” first woman commercial pilot in the USA.
