A new opportunity for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs is taking off in the Midlands, UK. FlyaSpitfire.com, renowned for providing authentic Supermarine Spitfire flight experiences, has announced back in December a partnership with Tatenhill Aviation to bring these extraordinary flights closer to central England. Operating from Tatenhill Airfield, participants can now experience the thrill of piloting one of Britain’s most celebrated aircraft. This collaboration opens up the chance for residents of Stoke-on-Trent—hometown of Spitfire designer R.J. Mitchell—as well as Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas, to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime flight experience.

The Midlands has a rich aviation heritage, and this partnership allows people to experience firsthand the exhilaration of flying a genuine Spitfire. It’s more than a flight; it’s a step back in time to feel what the pilots of the Battle of Britain experienced.”
