The new Concorde collection centers on the legendary Anglo-French supersonic airliner, whose sleek delta-wing silhouette and Mach 2 performance made it one of the most recognizable aircraft ever built. First flown in 1969 and entering commercial service in 1976, Concorde could cross the Atlantic in just over three hours, dramatically reducing travel time between Europe and North America.  Barnstormer’s Concorde-themed garments feature designs inspired by the aircraft’s history and visual identity. The line currently includes several pieces such as a T-shirt, polo shirts, a long-sleeve polo, and a sweatshirt, each featuring graphics referencing the aircraft and its supersonic legacy.  Among the featured items is the “Concorde: The Supersonic Airliner” polo, which was created as a tribute to the anniversary of the first flight of Concorde prototype F-WTSS in Toulouse.  Other garments in the collection incorporate stylized graphics and references to the aircraft’s distinctive shape and pioneering achievements.

Many of the garments are produced using cotton fabrics and aviation-inspired design elements intended to appeal to aviation enthusiasts and collectors alike. Prices range from approximately €37 for a T-shirt to around €95 for long-sleeve polo shirts.  For aviation historians and enthusiasts, Concorde remains far more than just a commercial airliner. Developed jointly by France and the United Kingdom, the aircraft embodied a bold era of aerospace innovation, featuring afterburning engines, heat-resistant structures for sustained supersonic flight, and its distinctive drooping nose for improved cockpit visibility during takeoff and landing.  Although Concorde’s commercial service ended in 2003, the aircraft continues to capture the imagination of aviation fans worldwide. Through collections like Barnstormer’s latest release, the legacy of the supersonic transport continues to inspire new generations of enthusiasts who celebrate the aircraft not only as a technological achievement but also as a cultural icon of the jet age.
