“The B-29 was the first heavy bomber in our nation’s arsenal during World War II; having the opportunity to connect the heritage of the B-29 with the B-1 bombers at Dyess showcases the evolution of aviation technology and U.S. airpower history,” said B-29 DOC Chief Pilot Mark Novak. “This air show and tour stop provides a unique opportunity for people to get up close and personal with history, while learning about and honoring the Greatest Generation.”

B-29 DOC Flight Experience rides will be available Wednesday and Thursday, April 16 and 17, before the air show, and Monday, April 21, following the air show at Abilene Regional Airport. Tickets for the ride flights in Abilene are now on sale at www.b29doc.com/rides. Book Your Seat on B-29 Doc at the links below for your chosen dates.
