B-29 DOC Hangar, Education and Visitors Center, Wichita, Kansas, has rescheduled its B-29 DOC Flight Experience rides from Aug. 7-9 to Aug. 15-16, with limited seats still available for the new dates. Passengers who already held tickets for the original Aug. 7-9 dates have been moved to the Aug. 15-16 schedule and contacted by email regarding the change. The B-29 DOC Hangar, Education and Visitors Center will also be open Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, DOC will not be available for public ground or cockpit tours that day. Visitors will instead be able to watch engine starts, observe aircraft operations from inside the hangar, and explore the museum displays.

General admission on Aug. 15 will be $10 per person or $20 per family. Flight experience tickets for Aug. 15 and 16 are available online, with prices varying according to seat location. The rescheduled weekend gives visitors another opportunity to experience DOC, one of only two remaining airworthy Boeing B-29 Superfortresses in the world, while the aircraft continues its tour and flight program.
