“We’re honored to welcome That’s All, Brother as part of our ongoing mission to connect people with living history,” said Josh Wells, executive director of B-29 DOC. “Having these two legendary warbirds together offers a powerful and immersive opportunity to experience firsthand the aircraft that helped secure victory during World War II. It’s a unique way to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who flew them.”

Piloted by Lt. Col. John Donalson, That’s All, Brother led the main airborne assault on D-Day, June 6, 1944, heading a formation of more than 800 C-47s that carried over 13,000 paratroopers into Normandy. After the war, the aircraft was eventually retired and sat forgotten in a scrapyard until it was discovered and meticulously restored by the Commemorative Air Force.
