Visitors may have an opportunity to fly in a P-51 Mustang, Red Nose, at the second annual Tuskegee Airmen Legacy Open House on Saturday, July 16.  The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing, based in Peachtree City, Ga., plans to bring its historic aircraft to Moton Field if at least two rides can be scheduled by 5 pm Thursday, July 14.

“The Dixie Wing team is looking forward to bringing Red Nose to the CAF Red Tail Squadron event, although as a non-profit organization we must arrange for at least two rides before we can confirm our participation,” said Dixie Wing Leader Jay Bess. “Our P-51 is similar to the aircraft flown by the Red Tail Squadron in WWII, which will add a realistic, historic touch to Saturday’s event.” To schedule a ride of a lifetime, click HERE or call Marvona at 812-240-2560.
