The Vintage Flying Museum, Fort Worth, Texas, has unveiled new nose art on its historic Beech E18S, N13JC, and also renamed the aircraft Jackie in honor of aviation pioneer Jackie Cochran. Museum officials said the tribute reflects the organization’s commitment to preserving not only historic aircraft but also the stories of the people whose achievements helped shape aviation. “She was phenomenal in what she accomplished as a role model for women,” said Museum Director Chuckie Hospers. By renaming the Beech E18S, Hospers added, “we are giving her the recognition she rightly deserves.” According to the museum, the newly unveiled nose art offers visitors an opportunity to connect with Cochran’s legacy while learning more about the aircraft and her impact on aviation. Guests are invited to visit the museum to see Jackie and explore the story behind one of aviation’s most influential figures.
