Military Vehicle Show Returns to Yorkshire Air Museum on August 30

The Yorkshire Air Museum will welcome military vehicle enthusiasts on August 30 for its annual Military Vehicle Show. The event near York will feature privately owned military cars, trucks, and armored vehicles, alongside reenactors, militaria stalls, and other displays. The show is included with standard museum admission and offers visitors a chance to explore historic military hardware up close.

The Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, England, will host its Military Vehicle Show on Sunday, Aug. 30, bringing a selection of privately owned military vehicles to the museum near York. The event will feature military cars, trucks, and armored vehicles displayed around the museum site. The vehicles are owned by private collectors and enthusiasts who preserve and maintain examples of military history. Alongside the vehicles, visitors will find reenactors, militaria stalls, and other displays during the event.

The Military Vehicle Show perfectly complements our collection of aircraft and has always been hugely popular with visitors. They will be able to experience some incredible military hardware up-close. It’s a great way to see August out with a bang,” said Yorkshire Air Museum spokesman Jerry Ibbotson. The Military Vehicle Show returned to the museum last year for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is included with standard museum admission, and no special ticket is required.
