The Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Center has something new on display: a traveling exhibit called Hall of Heroes. It opened quietly in November 2025, and it’ll be lasting until February 13, 2026. The best part is that you don’t need a separate ticket; it’s included with regular admission.

Anyone who’s into comic books, old-school spy gadgets, or classic TV heroes will probably have a field day here. The exhibit mixes hands-on displays with bits of pop-culture history, so you can walk through the space and see how these characters and ideas changed over the decades. Some sections look at what pushes ordinary people into hero roles, while others break down the traits that make certain characters iconic.

One of the big crowd-stoppers is the 1960s Barris-built Batmobile, the real TV version. There are also props, replicas, and a few hard-to-find items from movies and television shows. The whole thing traces how the idea of a “hero” evolved, from radio dramas all the way to today’s blockbuster universe.

Here’s what Michael Martin, the Director of Experience and Education at the Air Zoo, has to say: “Hall of Heroes invites everyone to step into the world of the iconic characters who have inspired generations. With exhibits featuring fan favorites like the Hulk, Black Panther, and Doctor Who, along with highly engaging interactive displays that challenge guests to uncover their unique abilities, this super-charged experience offers hands-on fun for all ages as you discover your own superpowers.” If you want to donate to Air Zoo, you can click here and visit the official website for further details.
