Independent developer Loyal Mussy has released Milk Run: Tiles Over Europe, a WWII-themed match-3 combat game for Android devices. Available now on Google Play for $1.99, the title combines puzzle gameplay with aerial warfare, placing players in command of a B-17 bomber during missions over wartime Europe. Rather than simply matching tiles for points, players use ammunition, repair tools, and other resources on the puzzle board to keep their aircraft operational while fending off enemy fighters. The game features a 25-mission campaign that includes encounters with multiple enemy aircraft types, anti-aircraft flak corridors, gun malfunctions, and historical bombing targets.
Players can also upgrade their bomber using resources earned during missions, recruit crew members that provide aircraft bonuses, and undertake reconnaissance missions for additional rewards. Customization options include creating personalized nose art and renaming the aircraft. According to the developer, special attention was given to immersion, with visible battle damage affecting both the aircraft and puzzle board, alongside detailed sound design featuring engine noise, gunfire, and combat effects. Stereo headphones are recommended for the game’s spatial audio experience.
Unlike many modern mobile titles, Milk Run: Tiles Over Europe is offered as a complete purchase with no advertisements or in-app purchases. The developer also notes that all game assets were either created by hand or sourced from licensed and public-domain materials, with no generative AI used in the game’s production.
