Located at the heart of Delta’s Atlanta headquarters, the museum has been transformed to better showcase the airline’s rich legacy, the pioneers who built it, and the innovations that propelled it skyward. Reopening to the public on Monday, April 7, the newly renovated space brings Delta’s century of aviation history to life. Marie Force, Delta’s director of archives, led the extensive effort to preserve and display artifacts spanning a century of flight, including historic uniforms, vintage engine components, and scale models from Delta’s extensive airline family, which includes over 40 carriers and five major mergers. “An airline’s history is more than aircraft and timetables—it’s the people, the ingenuity, and the passion that keep it flying,” says Force. “At Delta, we’re dedicated to sharing that story, not just as a tribute to the past but as a beacon for the future of aviation.”
