NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum to Celebrate Christmas in July with Santa, Live Music, and Family Activities

NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum will bring holiday cheer to the summer season with its annual Christmas in July celebration on July 25. Families can meet Santa, enjoy live music, face painting, festive photo opportunities, and seasonal treats while exploring the museum's collection of historic aircraft inside Hangar No. 1.

Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum, Cape May Airport, NJ, will celebrate Christmas in July on Saturday, July 25, with a full day of family-friendly activities inside Historic Hangar No. 1 at Cape May Airport. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a visit from Santa Claus, who will greet guests from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa’s sleigh will also be on display among the museum’s collection of historic aircraft for the day.

Visitors can enjoy live music by Rich Angelucci, free face painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a model train display, and chalk art created by Samantha Dahlstrom. Several holiday-themed photo areas will also be set up throughout the museum, giving families an opportunity to take pictures with Santa or create an early Christmas card surrounded by historic aviation exhibits. Hippie Kitty Coffee will offer coffee and seasonal beverages for purchase during the event, while Victory Scoops, the museum’s aviation-themed ice cream parlor, will serve ice cream and other refreshments. Guests are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts or other summer-themed holiday attire as part of the celebration. Christmas in July is included with regular museum admission.
