The Vulcan to the Sky Trust has announced new dates for tours of the iconic Avro Vulcan XH558. This unique experience invites visitors to step beneath the aircraft’s massive delta wing, view the thousands of names displayed beneath its surface, and learn about its maintenance from the volunteer engineering team. The tours, held at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, offer a rare opportunity to explore the “Spirit of Great Britain” up close while creating lasting memories. Proceeds from the events support the ongoing care and preservation of Vulcan XH558.

Tour Schedule and Highlights
Tours are available in two sessions:- Morning Session: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
- Underwing Tour: Explore the names displayed on the Vulcan.
- Meet the Engineering Team: Gain insights into the ongoing maintenance work, such as oil changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
- Cockpit Visit: Enjoy a short talk from an engineer while sitting in the cockpit.
- Bomb Bay Tour: Discover the impressive interior of XH558’s cavernous bomb bay.
