A Legacy of Excellence

The name “Twin Beech” has been closely associated with the Stoltzfus family since 1963, when an ex-Navy SNB-5 joined their fleet. Over the years, the family has operated numerous models, from the AT-11 and JRB-4 of the C18S series to the H18S and a fleet of Hamilton Westwind III turboprops. Karl D. Stoltzfus, the late founder of Dynamic Aviation (formerly K&K Aircraft), had a deep appreciation for the Beech 18 series. After decades of operating these aircraft, he knew exactly what he wanted in his final Twin Beech acquisition. In 2019, he found the perfect match in N18G (formerly N565US), a pampered, low-time aircraft that had never been used as a freighter.

A Cherished Aircraft

Affectionately named “Amelia” due to its connection with Nauticos in the search for the Amelia Earhart crash site, N18G has been a treasured part of Dynamic Aviation. It has earned the admiration of all who have had the privilege of flying or maintaining it. Chief Pilot Rod Moyer, an experienced turbine DC-3 pilot, expressed his deep attachment to Amelia, stating, “There is only one airplane I’ve flown in my career that has made my heart skip when I walked up to it—every time—without exception. And not because of fear or nervousness, but because of joy and anticipation. It was N18G—she stole my heart.”
