Commemorative Air Force Warbirds to Soar at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025

Several of the Commemorative Air Force’s most iconic warbirds are heading to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025, where they’ll be on display, available for cockpit tours, and even offering flight experiences. From the mighty B-29 FIFI to classic fighters like the P-51 Tuskegee Airmen and FG-1D Corsair, CAF aircraft will bring living history to life at Wittman Regional Airport this July.

Aviation enthusiasts heading to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 are in for a special treat as the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) brings a diverse fleet of historic warbirds to Wittman Regional Airport. From July 21–27, 2025, attendees will have the rare opportunity to see these legendary aircraft up close—on static display, available for cockpit tours, and even offering once-in-a-lifetime rides.

The CAF’s presence at Oshkosh is always a highlight of the world’s largest aviation celebration, and this year promises to be no exception. Aircraft from across the organization’s nationwide Wings and Sponsor Groups will be featured, representing iconic designs from World War II through the early Cold War era.   • SNJ-6, BT-13, and L-5 (Minnesota Wing)

Born in Milan, Italy, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 1999 to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. His aviation passion began early, inspired by his uncle, an F-104 Starfighter Crew Chief, and his father, a military traffic controller. Childhood adventures included camping outside military bases and watching planes at Aeroporto Linate. In 1999, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to obtain his commercial pilot license, a move that became permanent. With 24 years in the U.S., he now flies full-time for a Part 91 business aviation company in Atlanta. He is actively involved with the Commemorative Air Force, the D-Day Squadron, and other aviation organizations. He enjoys life with his supportive wife and three wonderful children.
