The Flying Evening is scheduled for August 22 and runs later than the usual daytime shows, with aircraft taking to the air closer to sunset. It tends to be a shorter program, often focused on formation flying, and the latter light gives it a different feel compared to the rest of the season. If you’re interested, click HERE to book tickets. The following event is the Battle of Britain Air Show on September 12 and 13. As expected, the focus is on 1940, both in the air and on the ground. Flying displays feature aircraft from the period, while the rest of the site reflects the same timeframe through exhibits and themed activity. Tickets for the event are available HERE.

The season will close with the Duxford Flying Finale on October 3. As the final flying event of the year, it typically brings together a mix of aircraft seen earlier in the season, along with late-season appearances before winter operations begin. Get your tickets for the event HERE. In addition to these larger shows, Duxford will continue to run its Flying Days series throughout the summer. These are smaller-scale events built around specific themes, often linking flying displays with aspects of the airfield’s history and its role over time. Click HERE to get your tickets.
