The Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Center, Kalamazoo, MI, is planning a series of spring break activities for families between March 24 and April 9. The program, called Spring Break Family Fun Days, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select days and is included with general admission. More details and a full schedule are available at airzoo.org/springbreak.

“Spring Break Family Fun Days are all about sparking curiosity and giving families a chance to explore science together in a fun, engaging way,” said Seth Welton, Marketing & Communications Manager. “Each day offers something different, so guests can come back and experience something new every time.” Each day focuses on a different theme.

“Your Adventure to Space,” scheduled for March 24, March 31, and April 7, will look at what astronauts bring to the International Space Station while giving visitors a chance to design their own missions. “Curious Color,” taking place March 25, April 1, and April 8, will explore how light and color work through hands-on experiments involving the visible spectrum. “Engineering Extravaganza,” scheduled for March 26, April 2, and April 9, will feature hands-on challenges focused on building, design, and problem-solving.

In addition to the spring break programming, the museum will continue to offer its regular exhibits and attractions. The Hall of Heroes exhibit has been extended through May, and four new interactive exhibits have recently been added. Visitors can also explore the museum’s collection of more than 100 aircraft and spacecraft, along with flight simulators, hands-on displays, and indoor rides. All activities, along with rides and exhibits, are included with general admission. For more information and to support the Air Zoo, click on this link: www.airzoo.org.
