Last June, we covered the recent completion of a beautiful reproduction of a Vought O3U-3 Corsair 1930s US naval observation aircraft by the Vought Heritage Foundation (VHF) of Grand Prairie, TX, in this article HERE. However, with the VHF assisting a local chapter of the Commemorative Air Force in restoring a Stearman PT-17, the VHF is now looking for a new owner for their Corsair reproduction. VHF member Rusty Branum, who helped build the O3U-3, has stated that “We are actively seeking a buyer for the O3U-3 Corsair, a collector or museum or other organization.” Branum has asked us at Vintage Aviation News, on behalf of the Vought Heritage Foundation, to “help us get the word out to the aviation community.” To reach out to the Vought Heritage Foundation, visit their WEBSITE for contact information.
