The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has announced that July 21 will spotlight emerging aviation technologies during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, with a combination of static aircraft displays on Boeing Plaza and flight demonstrations during the afternoon air show. The 73rd edition of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh will be held July 20-26 at Wittman Regional Airport. The annual fly-in convention regularly features new aircraft designs and developing aerospace technologies alongside historic aircraft and traditional air show performances.

“EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the focal point of the calendar for the aviation community every year, making it the perfect opportunity for companies to showcase what is on the horizon,” said Rick Larsen, EAA’s vice president of communities and member programs, who coordinates AirVenture features and attractions. “The collection of innovations taking the stage on Tuesday represents just part of where aviation is heading.” Aircraft and technology displays currently scheduled for Boeing Plaza include exhibits from BETA Technologies, Bye Aerospace, Jetson, American Drone, magniX, Zipline, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Airhart Aeronautics, Merlin Labs, Amazon Delivery, and Starlight Productions.

Several of the participating companies are also expected to demonstrate their aircraft during the Tuesday afternoon air show. According to EAA, flight demonstrations are currently planned for aircraft from Bye Aerospace, Jetson, BETA Technologies, American Drone, and ScaleWings. Drone delivery company Wing is also scheduled to participate in AirVenture’s Twilight Flight Fest, where it will present the latest developments in its delivery operations. EAA noted that the July 21 air show schedule remains subject to change.
