Warbird operators planning to attend EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 can now complete their pre-registration through the EAA Warbirds of America system. Organizers are encouraging pilots to begin the process early to ensure all membership and documentation requirements are completed ahead of the event. To access the Warbirds pre-registration system, pilots must hold an active EAA Warbirds of America membership valid through at least July 31, 2026. Those needing to join or renew are advised to complete that step before attempting to register, as access to the system is restricted to current members. Here are the details: CLICK HERE.

Pilots intending to participate in any of the daily EAA Warbirds of America air shows must also submit all required air show documentation electronically during pre-registration. Required documents include a current Medical Certificate, Pilot Certificate (front and back), FAST card for formation flying participants, and proof of aircraft insurance. Organizers recommend having digital copies prepared in advance to streamline the process. Warbird Registration officials are also requesting that pilots planning to fly in waivered airspace during AirVenture 2026 complete the Pilot and Aircraft Technical Evaluation form and email it to [email protected] as early as possible. According to organizers, completing this requirement ahead of arrival should help expedite the check-in process at Oshkosh.

Aircraft owners planning to park their aircraft in the Warbirds area for static display during AirVenture must also complete the online pre-registration process. While static display participants are not required to submit pilot documentation, pre-registration remains mandatory for aircraft parking within the Warbirds area. Pre-registration will remain open until the day before a participant’s planned arrival at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026. Pilots registering multiple aircraft may do so during a single session by selecting the “Add Another Aircraft” option after completing the first entry. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 is expected to once again feature one of the world’s largest gatherings of historic military aircraft, with daily flying demonstrations, educational presentations, and extensive warbird activities throughout the week.
